Gazpromneft has completed most of a 4.4mn t/yr (90,000 b/d) terminal in Ob Bay to handle oil from the Yamal penin- sula’s Novoportovskoye field. It finished installing the 4,000t main body of the single point mooring (SPM) 4.5km from shore at Cape Kamenny late last month. It aims to finish laying sub- sea pipelines from shore to the SPM and to complete all construction work by the year’s end.
