Gazpromneft is preparing to load this year’s first tanker cargo of crude from its Novoportovskoye field on the Yamal peninsula. The 19,800t Arc5 (1A super) iceclass tanker Ice Condor left the port of Murmansk on 4 February and arrived at Cape Kamenny on the Ob bay on 13 February, according to Russia’s Northern Sea Route (NSR) administration. The Ice Condor is owned by Greecebased Roswell Tankers, which also owns three other 1A super 15,000- 20,000t ice-class tankers, including the 20,000t Ice Eagle, which the NSR administration says arrived at Cape Kamenny on 19 February.
