Algeria sends more crude east and west

Long-haul Algerian crude exports are rising at the expense of sales to Europe,as refiners in Asia-Pacific and the US pay more for light sweet grades.Shipments to Asia-Pacific of Algerian light sweet Saharan Blend rose last year by 50pc to 75,000 b/d,or 8pc of total exports,compared with 5pc in 2006 and negligible exports the year before.
