The IMF is warning commodity exporters to prepare for a potential fall in prices. "The weak global economic outlook suggests that commodity prices are unlikely to increase at the pace of the past decade," the organisation says in its latest World Economic Outlook (WEO). "In fact, under the baseline World Economic Outlook projections, commodity prices are forecast to decline somewhat during 2012-13."
