Mideast Gulf refiners target Asia-Pacific

Growing products demand in Asia- Pacific is prompting some Mideast Gulf producers to alter their export strategies as they add to refining capacity. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the UAE plan to bring on stream several new refineries within the next few years. Their export plans are increasingly targeting the emerging economies of Asia-Pacific rather than the developed economies of Europe and the US.
