Rising Chinese demand boosted prices of most products,helping counter a glut of high-sulphur fuel oil and limit a slide in gasoline values.Gasoil drew support from strong demand in India and Chile.Jet-kerosine prices relative to Dubai crude slipped from record levels amid narrowing arbitrage opportunities to the US west coast and weaker Japanese heating kerosme demand.But the price drop was limited by higher Chinese jet fuel demand.China Aviation Oil sought 105,000 b/d of imports for May,up by around 9pc from April imports.
