摘要

DC/DC series resonant converter controlled with constant frequency by means of the additional transistors conduction time control is presented. Proposed converter scheme allows to relatively high range of its output voltage (current) changes in comparison to the conventional PRC converter. Owing to parallel capacitors, all converter transistors are switched with zero voltage conditions. It leads to smaller switching power losses and enables to increase the converter switching frequency. Additional advantage of converter is the load characteristic typical for voltage or current source depending on the control frequency in relation to the resonant frequency. Principle of the proposed converter operation, mathematical description using the state plane analysis and results of the computer simulations as well as laboratory model investigations proving its properties are presented.
