1. Heavy refinery maintenance supported gasoil and gasoline. Lower long-haul imports also helped to lift fuel oil and naphtha. But poor export economics are still weighing heavily on jet-kerosine markets. 2. The approach of the high-demand summer season and refinery disruptions are supporting gasoline. Malaysia and Australia are importing higher octane grades, but Indonesian demand for lower octane gasoline is subdued. Higher octane gaso- line rose to its biggest premium to lower octane grades since last July (see graph).
