1. Refining margins were mixed. Limited spot supplies supported jet fuel and naphtha while demand for other products was subdued. 2. Prompt naphtha values traded at a discount to forward prices for a third successive week, a stretch last seen six months ago. But the discount has started to narrow as strong margins spur demand (see graph).
