Nymex WTI breaks $100/bl

Crude futures prices rose on a large stockdraw in the US and unrest in the Middle East. Nymex front-month WTI broke above $100/bl for the first time since May last year, narrowing its dis- count to Ice front-month Brent for a fourth week running to $4.40/bl on 2 July, the smallest discount in 30 months.
