On polyamorphism in heterophase matter

摘要

Structural and thermodynamic features of continuous and discontinuous polymorphic phase transformations in amorphous matter caused by the rearrangement of mesoscopic molecular associations are considered. Polyamorphism of fluids expanded mercury, and the orientationally-disordered fullerite C-60, pure and doped by heavy rare gases, is summarized.
