The GDP growth in developing countries is expected to be higher than in developed countries in 2010 Based on inputs from 30 countries, the WSA (World Steel Association) forecasts global steel demand growth at 9.2% in 2010. Unless a new crisis breaks out, improvement in steel industry is also forecast to continue during H2 of 2010. Growth in real terms is expected to be seen in 2011. Scrap market is forecast to be strong in 2010.
