Core, owner of the Finniss project near Darwin, achieved the first shipment of lithium direct shipping ore late last week.Northern Territory chief minister Natasha Fyles and NT minister for mining and industry Nicole Manison joined Finniss operations manager Michael Rukuita at Darwin Port on Friday to witness the loading of the 15,000 dry metric tonne cargo. The cargo graded 1.4 lithium oxide and was sold via a digital exchange platform for US$951 per dry metric tonne.
