BASF’s wheat fungicide Revylution approved in New Zealand

BASF’s group 3 fungicide, Revylution (mefentri?uconazole – trade-marked as Revysol), has been registered for use in wheat crops in New Zealand. The product controls and prevents speckled leaf blotch (Septoria tritici), leaf rust (Puccinia hordei), and stripe rust (Puccinia striiformis f sp tritici). Revylution is"highly effective” on its own and can be mixed with other fungicides to extend disease coverage, says BASF, adding that the product performs"extremely well” in adverse weather conditions. It claims that Revylution’s single-active formulation will help simplify grower rotations, making disease control more “eicient and economical”.
