UPL clocks 19 rise in Q2 agchem sales

UPL reported an 18.5 rise in sales to Rs 118,890 million ($1,540.8 million at the average rate for the period) for its “agro activities” comprising agrochemicals and seeds for its second scal quarter ended September 30th 2022. Agro activities accounted for 95.1 (95 in last year's corresponding quarter) of the rm's consolidated quarterly sales, which stood at Rs 125,060 million ($1,620.8 million), up over 18 from the corresponding period last year.
