Emal Selects Alstom for the Installation of Gas Treatment Centers at its Aluminum Smelter

Emirates Aluminium(Emal)has awarded a contract to the French company Alstom for the supply and installation of gas treatment centers(GTCs)at its future smelter.Emal points out that this 200-million contract is the largest of this type ever awarded in the aluminum industry and calls for the use of Alstom's advanced technology for reducing both fluoride and sulfur dioxide(S02)emissions.
