Legislators introduce bill that would update and stabilize federal child nutrition programs

A bill to reauthorize—and, it is hoped, update and stabilize—federal child nutrition programs was introduced in the House last week by Rep. Robert C. “Bobby” Scott (D-Va.), chair of the House Education and Labor Committee, along with Rep. Suzanne Bonamici (D-OR), who is chair of the Civil Rights and Human Services Subcommittee.
