摘要

On the North Ras Qattara concession in the Western Desert,which encompasses two separate tracts-Block I(86.3 sq km)and Block II(250.7 sq km)-and in which it has a 100% interest,the U.S.company IPR International Ltd.struck oil with the North Ras Qattara-3X well(Le-39-1).Drilled on Block II,close to IPR's Yidma-Alamein development lease,the well was taken down to a depth of 10,262 feet and penetrated a 100-foot pay zone in the prolific Alamein dolomite formation.
