With the signing of a heads of agreement for the establishment of Qatargas IV,a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum (70%) and Royal Dutch/Shell (30%) and a letter of intent for the development of an ethane-based cracker and derivatives complex,the Shell group's investments in Qatar are set to reach us13-15 billion in the coming years.
