ExxonMobil Will Cover US1.9 Billion of the Cost of the Qatargas II Project

In an interview with the Qatar News Agency,the Managing Director of Qatargas,Mr.Faisal al-Suwaidi,indicated that the company was currently producing 10 million tons/year of LNG and 60,000 b/d of condensate and that discussions were underway to find outlets for the output of Qatargas III.An agreement on the latter project was concluded in December 2003 between Qatar Petroleum (QP) and ConocoPhillips.
