摘要

Europe’s agri-food industry fears that new EU rules to prevent the import of products linked to deforestation could cause logistical hurdles and negatively affect the bloc’s supply chains. On Tuesday (6 December), following an agreement between legislators on the new due diligence rules for companies that want to sell products like cocoa or coffee in the EU, Coceral – a European cereal trade group – issued a statement warning about the potential negative impact for the industry.
