Biobest looks to acquire BioWorks

Belgian biological pest control company Biobest (Westerlo) reports signing a non-binding letter of intent (LoI) to acquire US biopesticide business BioWorks (Victor, New York). The former looks to expand its biopesticide product portfolio and manufacturing capability in North America through the acquisition. The deal will focus on the horticulture and specialty agriculture markets, explains Biobest.
