Belgian biopesticide business KitoZyme (Herstal) and Belgian food protection company Janssen PMP (Beerse) have agreed an exclusive collaboration. The partnership will evaluate and develop the former's technologies based on the naturally occurring substance, chitosan (poly-D-glucosamine), for post-harvest storage preservation of fruits and vegetables.
