Corteva launches biologicals platform in Mexico

Corteva Agriscience has launched a biological crop protection platform in Mexico. The company says that it is focusing on the changing expectations of the market including of products with reduced environmental impacts. The platform should also provide access to a more diverse range of products, it adds. Corteva says the move “aligns perfectly with global sustainability goals and growing consumer and society demands, such as” reducing GHG emissions, soil health improvement, and management of water courses and biodiversity. Notably, Mexico’s government is pushing for an increased use of biological products in the country, even promoting such tools as an alternative to the soon-to-be phased out glyphosate herbicide.
