摘要

An analysis of magnetic field, forces and power losses in a disc-type induction motor with double-sided stator and twin rotors, is presented. A calculation method that is used bases on the Fourier's series, which allows to carry out the analysis of the motor operation applying the harmonic equivalent circuit of the motor with asymmetrical winding and asymmetrical voltage supply. The calculation results of magnetic field distribution in an air-gap, force and power losses distribution in the double-layer solid rotor are presented along with motor electromechanical characteristics found at a single- and two-phase supply. These results are partially verified by the experimental ones.
