If you're reading this, you've already noticed there's something different about the new issue of Air Force Times: the paper. We've moved our print editions to a more traditional magazine size. Going forward, the issues may look a hair smaller, but we've done the math and - rest assured - they have roughly the same amount of space for articles, photos and infographics. Amid a worldwide paper shortage, this change helps us better prepare for contingencies and reduces possible supply chain disruptions. We also believe this move will help us keep costs down over the longer term. It probably sounds familiar. These are a lot of the same issues the Pentagon is working through: logistics, rising prices and general uncertainty. But most importantly, we hope this new format is a better fit for our monthly production cycle and a better opportunity to showcase our journalism.
