In December 2007 Universal Metal Coating Company Ltd (Unicoil) completed its acquisition of Sidq Painted Sheets Company and buying all the shares of partners. The sheets coating line in Sidq Painted Sheets Company is one of the modern production lines with a. production capacity of up to 100 thousand tons per year. Therewith the Unicoil company has made for itself a prominent position as the largest mill for the coloured sheets in the Middle East and at the world level with a production capacity of up to 220 thousand tons per year, utilizing thereby the most of the productivity of its cold-rolling and galvanization complex with a production capacity of up to 250 thousand tons per year of cold-rolled and galvanized sheets.
