The Saudi Hadeed Company is committed to apply its own environment programme which deals with preventing pollution, minimising wastes, rationalizing energy consumption, renovation, manufacturing processes and environmental awareness. Realizing the international ISO standards 14001 for Hadeed Company in 2002 is considered one of the priorities to be focused on by the activity of the company. The environment report of 2001 prepared by the industrial security department for Hadeed Review includes a review of the most significant points to be incorporated in Hadeed's Environment Management System which can be summed up as follows: Hadeed recognizes that the environment is a key factor for its business and has adopted an environment and occupational health & hygiene program to address all the environmental issues. In line with prevailing international practices, Hadeed has set into action the process for implementation for the Environment Management System (EMS) and set objectives, targets and action plan for all the environmental aspects that would have an adverse or significant effect on the environment.
