Activity remained muted in Europe this week, and market participants do not expect buying interest to pick up until January. Producers are overall comfortable for December, with curtailed production limiting spot availability of amsul. But demand is also thin, and suppliers with uncommitted De-cember tonnage had to lower asking prices to €320-330/t fob NW Europe ($336-347/t) this week for standard capro-grade material to compete with Chinese material in southern Europe.
