Mubadala assigned high credit ratings by Standard & Poor's, Moody's and Fitch

On 16 September three credit rating agencies, Standard & Poor's (S&P), Fitch Ratings and Moody's Investors Service simultaneously announced high ratings for Mubadala Development Company, equivalent to the sovereign ratings for Abu Dhabi. S&P assigned ratings of AA to its long-term borrowings and A-1+ to its short-term credits, Fitch gave it an F1+ rating for its short-term credits and Moody's an Aa2 rating for its long-term, local-currency and foreign-currency borrowings. This is the first time Moody's has assigned a rating to Mubadala. In all cases, the outlook is stable.
