Prices for both prilled and granular urea slipped again this week on low demand from most end-user markets. One prilled cargo sold for Mexico at around a $410/t fob netback, accounting for ice-class freight from St Petersburg. Availabil-ity is high – the Mexican enquiry attracted ofers from four other producers – and trader bids have since pushed into the $300s/t fob for both prilled and granular urea.
