Eni Has Completed Phases 4 and 5 of the Development of South Pars

The Italian company Eni,the operator for phases 4 and 5 of the development of the South Pars super-giant gas and condensate field,has announced that work on these two phases has been successfully completed ahead of schedule.Eni has a 60% interest in the joint venture set up with two Iranian companies,Petropars (20%),and NaftIran Intertrade Co.(20%),to undertake these two phases of work.The buyback service contract for the project was signed in July 2000.
