12 Letters of Intent Signed for the Sale of Natural Gas to Be Exported to Italy Under the Galsi Project

The project for laying a direct gasline between Algeria and Italy,known as Galsi,took a spectacular step forward on 7 March when 12 letters of intent were signed for the sale and purchase of Algerian gas.The letters of intent were signed with the province of Sardinia,with some of Sonatrach's partners in the Galsi project (Edison,Enel,EOS Energia) and with several international companies,namely Hera Spa,Blugas,EGL,Elettrogas,Erogasmet Spa,Exergia Spa,Gaz de France and Worldenergy.
