Schlumberger Mutiphase Well Testing Successfully Applied in Challenging Settings

Multiphase well testing has proven successful in a wide range of applications worldwide, adding value to and providing an efficient and cost-effective means for obtaining the accurate flow rate and well performance data necessary to assess potential and optimize production of a well or an entire field. The Schlumberger PhaseTestre~* and Phase Watcher~* multiphase well testing services, which incorporate the Vx~* technology, measure continuously the rates of individual phases, oil, gas and water, without their prior separation. These well testing services, their technological basis and two field applications are described herein.
