Declining East, strengthening West

US spot power fell nearly 5.25 pct in all hubs since last week on a cumulative basis. The decline was largely due to prices in New England, PJM, and New York where they fell by an average 17 pct amid natural gas prices settling at prices almost 19.5 pct lower than last week. The average unweighted nationwide price was about 71.50 dollars/MWh.
