Murray Energy has joined a growing list of coal companiesseeking to diversify to cope with a difficult price environment.The US coal producer has formed a new London-basedtrading business with Germany’s Eon and a group of unidentifiedtraders to market coal, power and freight and potentiallyother commodities later. Murray heralded the joint venture,dubbed Javelin, as a way to market its coal and help customersdevelop greater fuel flexibility.
