Activity to weaken in Turkish ferroalloy market

Ukrainian ferroalloy suppliers lifted their offers to Turkey in April due to limited sales availability. Prices for SiMn (71 Mn, 17 Si) to be shipped in May rose by $30/t to $1,100/t CIF. Georgian SiMn (65 Mn) could be bought at $1,050/t DDP, while such levels and even lower were heard for the alloy with 70 Mn content in March. There were no offers from India in the market due to tough quarantine in the country. FeSi prices went down amid weak demand and global downtrend. FeSi (70-72 Si) was quoted at $1,100-1,200/t CIF, down $45/t on average from March.
