Australia's Centennial mothballs two mines

Australia's Centennial coal has halted production operations indefinitely at two of its thermal coal mines in New South Wales (NSW) in response to lower coal prices and higher operating costs. Centennial, which is owned by Thai energy firm Banpu, has stopped production at its Airly and Mannering mines in the Hunter Valley region of NSW.
