The US-based Central States Water Environment Association presented the 2016 Water Stewardship Award to Aqua-Aerobic Systems' Product Manager of Biological Processes, Manuel de los Santos for his instrumental role as a volunteer member of the Global Water Stewardship. He traveled to Costa Rica in 2015 with other volunteers to resolve sanitation issues by educating people and engineering sustainable centralized solutions that keep waterways clean and communities healthy.
