Algoma Steel Inc has increased spot prices for new hot- and cold-rolled coil orders by $60 per ton ($3 per hundredweight) effective immediately. "We reserve the right to review and re-quote any offers that are not confirmed with either an Algoma sales acknowledgement or written acceptance by both parties," the Canadian lat-rolled steelmaker said in a letter to customers dated Monday December 7.
