Safety back on the agenda

Given the complexity of the task, it is not surprising that each session of the IMO's Maritime Safety Committee results in almost a thousand pages of reports, annexes and circulars. This month the MSC will be meeting for its 87th session and will be working through an agenda that includes piracy, fire protection, goal-based standards, dangerous goods in cargoes, bulk liquids and gases, LRIT, the human element and training and watchkeeping.
