? Regardless of their religious convictions, most seafarers consider the Mission to Seafarers a valuable part of life at sea. The Liberian registry, LISCR, certainly does, because it has awarded an honorary master s licence to the Reverend Canon Ken Peters, director of justice and welfare for the Mission to Seafarers, in recognition of the generous and continued support he has provided in connection with Liberia's Maritime Labour Convention (MLC 2006) inspector training courses.
