LNG quartet for China Shipping

China Shipping LNG has ordered four LNG carriers from Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding. The order for the 174,000m3 capacity vessels comes with an option for another two ships. All four carriers will be time-chartered to China's Sinopec oil company upon delivery in 2015-16. Sinopec will use the ships to transport LNG from the Australia Pacific LNG project to China. China Shipping LNG announced plans in July to order eight LNG carriers to be delivered between 2015 and 2017.
