European delivered coal prices rose above $120/t this week as demand was stoked by another cold snap and key sources of supply continued to be hampered by rain. Prices fell from above $120/t to around $115/t last week as the market relaxed as a result of milder winter temperatures. But temperatures in many parts of the UK and Europe plunged to below 0°C this week. And supply disruptions continued to emerge from Indonesia and Colombia, which have seen a deluge of rain in recent months.
