Though Chinese domestic prices have retreated the most quickly inpercentage terms, so far this year, it is in the USA, both for domestic andarguably externally produced supply, where the biggest falls have beenrecorded. Since the end of last year, HR coil base prices (excluding allextras) have fallen by the equivalent of $150/tonne. As we predicted,given their formerly elevated levels over HR substrate, CR coil and hotdippedgalvanized (HDG) base prices have fallen even more acutely.
