Rising freight costs from Portugal to Copenhagen meant Portuguese producers struggled to meet the bids, offers from the country were heard ?96-98/t on a fob Portugal basis — equivalent to ?113-115/t cif Copenhagen when assuming freight of around ?17.25/t. The freight movements in the week pressured prices in the near-term and the fob Portugal spot price fell ?1.03/t in the week.
