DP World buys shares in Maputo

Dubai-based DP World has further committed to the port of Maputo in Mozambique by acquiring shares, previously held by the company Portus Indico, in Maputo Port Development Company (MPDC). Currently, MPDC, which holds the concession at the port of Maputo, is a partnership between DP World (48.5%), Grindrod International (48.5%) and Mozambique Gestores SARL (3%).
