Canada port gets cash boost

The Nova Scotia, Canada-based Millbrook First Nation Economic Development Corporation has announced that it will participate, both as an investor and consultant, in the planned private container terminal to be built in the province. The 1.5 million TEU capacity Melford International Terminal (MIT), which is scheduled to open in early 2011, will be a deepwater port located on the mainland side of the Strait of Canso.
