USEC container terminal approved

A new container terminal will be built on the Savannah River, south-eastern US, developed jointly by the Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) and South Carolina State Ports Authority (SCSPA). The proposed location of the terminal is about 18km east of Savannah's current container facility, much closer to the open sea.
