Ganfeng in nickel offtake deal with Silkroad

Chinese lithium producer Jiangxi Ganfeng has agreed a 10- year offtake deal to buy laterite nickel ore from Indonesian nickel resource producer Silkroad Nickel. The offtake volume will be at least 1mn t/yr at the market price, with an option to increase the volume by an additional 500,000 t/yr and to extend the contract for a further five years. More details including the start time of the shipments were undisclosed.
